Look what I got on Friday morning! Breakfast in the form of a homemade snack from one of my Kenyan students. Stuffed with beef and onions and deep fried, it was still warm from the “grill” at 8AM. He came looking for me before I even got to school. Strange, considering I’m not even his favorite teacher because I’m only a woman. Cultural differences aside, I was extra nice to him all day.
